Human will enlightened by science and shown in action creates fulfillment through a power
which it uses according to inspiration good or bad having been victorious over a trial it takes
possession by its victory of the work which it has created and maintaining its balance with
prudence it dominates the oscillations of luck the course of time is measured in by ruins
but beyond these ruins we see the light of hope or despair Man aspires to happiness but this
latter is only found beyond the tomb and the rebirth following it which according to whether
he was good or bad brings him reward or atonement.

The Tarot has been a work in progress since the first hand painted decks
produced in the mid fifteenth century. With the invention of the printing press
in 1436, playing cards, Tarot included became easier to produce, leading to their
wide spread use across all of Europe and now the World. The cards are made out
of paper and paper wears out. The wood blocks used in the printing process were
hand carved, and wore out as well. The Artists that carved them grew old and either
retired or died. New Artists took their place, each lending something of themselves
to the imagery of the cards. Along side the development of the imagery we find the
development of myths, superstitions and diverse philosophies. Only by drilling down
into the art and Artists of the Tarot, can we cut through the fog of assumption and
superstition and perhaps uncover the truth about these mystifying artifacts.
